FAQ

If I am a coach, what type of payments do you take to purchase a package?

We use PayPal.  If you don’t have a PayPal account, you can still check out with your MasterCard, American Express, Visa, or Discover card by simply creating an account.

How do I know if my child will benefit from I Youth Football?

We are so confident that your player will increase his football skills, IYF, the licensee company, offers parents a full refund of the class if they don’t think their child has improved their football skills after attending an 8 week consecutive session. Parents can get their refund by submitting their class receipt and a separate written confirmation from the IYF licensee holder that the player attended the entire 8 week session.

My child already plays tackle football, how will this help him?

IYF skills training is designed to increase football skills while having fun. IYF skills training is great to help increase players’ skills when the pads are off.

My child already plays flag football, how is this any different?

Flag football is organized around leagues. Although flag football is non-contact, there is still only one football on the field. In every IYF class, each player gets to throw, catch, and kick. In many flag football leagues, some players don’t touch the ball the entire game. That’s not fun.

How long are classes?

Classes are usually about 40 minutes.

What classes are available and what class should my child be in?

Activities are designed specifically for your child’s age. We encourage our parents to keep the kids in their age specific class, tailored for them. There is no problem with repeating a class and we encourage it. The program isn’t like school where repeating a grade is a bad thing. The players usually enjoy repeating a class more than they liked it the first time they took the class. These are the following available classes:

I Youth Football Fun classes ages 3-5:

This package has two classes:

IYF fun class for ages 3-4 and IYF fun class for ages 4-5:

We use special soft footballs so the players don’t get hurt by the ball. Catching the ball at this age is usually not a great skill but we still practice catching, mostly by tossing the ball underhand. Players this age learn efficiently by repetition. Our classes are very consistent- week to week. We still do running(agility, not sprints :), kicking, throwing, and catching each class. Players get to discover in a new and safe environment. We mostly work on improving coordination, athleticism, and learning football skills. We help players increase their listen skills, organization skills, social skills, memory skills, imagination, and counting. I know it sounds like a lot, but we really do!

I Youth Football Fun classes ages 5-7:

This package has two classes:

IYF fun class for ages 5-6 and IYF fun class for ages 6-7:

In these classes we teach players how to catch, take proper angles, how to kick, punt, increase agility, and how to hold the ball. Each week is challenging and fun for every player no matter what skill level. We introduce new games each week and teach accountability and responsibility. Players start to learn position stances and technique drills of a QB, WR, DB, and RB. Each week, every player gets to run, kick, throw, and catch. This is all done in a positive and healthy environment. We are so confident that your players will increase their football skills IYF offers parents a full refund of the class if they don’t think their child has improved their football skills after attending an 8 week consecutive session.

I Youth Football Fun classes ages 7-11:

This package has two classes:

IYF fun class for ages 7-9 and IYF fun class for ages 9-11.

In these classes, activities are fast paced and will help increase hand-eye coordination, speed, lateral movement, and specific football skills. This is all done by doing fun activities. Each 40 min class has an option of up to 10 different activities the coach can select for each class. And each class is different and more challenging than the last. Each week, every player gets to run, kick, throw, and catch. Our IYF certified coaches foster a culture of fun, winning, self-improvement, and teamwork. We are so confident that your players will increase their football skills IYF offers parents a full refund of the class if they don’t think their child has improved their football skills after attending an 8 week consecutive session. Whether you run a school, coach a team, or just like the game of football, the IYF programs are a great investment into your players’ skills.

If I already coach football, why do I need I Youth Football to teach kids football skills?

Coaches, we know how much time goes into your preparation for practices. You are extremely busy! We have organized classes for you!

We have also found that younger players need to be coached differently than teenagers or adults. Most coaches that teach younger players can get value out of our curriculums because at each age, players have different abilities and skills.  Unprepared coaches will often lose the attention of their players because they are trying to do a drill or teach a skill that is too advanced. We can teach football skills to players at the age of 3!

Our Package 3 curriculums (ages 7-11), do not have one game or activity that is in the Package 1 curriculums (ages 3-5). You can’t teach 8 year olds the same way you teach a 4 year old.

Years of child development knowledge plus advanced football knowledge merged into developing the I Youth Football skill development program.

I only want to use the program to help my kid/s improve their skills. Can I buy the program for personal use?

Absolutely.

What if I don’t have my child in tackle football, is I Youth Football good for him/her?

Some children are not physically ready to play full contact football or don’t have that option, which can be disappointing. Our program ensures that children ages 3-11 can continue to develop football skills while enjoying playing the great game of football.
